Tuesday at Ten – GRACE

I had to laugh. I heard my dad “Well watch it there Grace!” as my mom stumbled over something or another. She was not graceful at all. Yet there was much grace in her life. She literally swam in grace. It wasn’t the absence of stumbling or fumbling or falling down. It was the presence of God.

Oh beloved, this is the day! Have you heard? Are you ready?  Grace is yours. Free for the giving from the Father heart of God. Don’t worry if you’ve been stumbling through life getting some things right and other things wrong. Don’t lament the mess you have found yourself emerging from. Instead rejoice that because you are full of GRACE you can rise again and waltz beautifully poised back into the Father’s open arms!

Aren’t we a blessed people? Unmerited favor. Unwarranted blessings. And yet, GRACE steps up and introduces itself from the Cross, through the Grave and into Heaven. Enjoy your life beloved and rejoice, laugh even, as you dust yourself off and dance again and again and again.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

About Rebekah Beene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
