First thing that comes to my mind is childhood – when we’re all out there trying to be the best at something. Whether it’s jump rope, bicycle riding, hopscotch or spitting contests, we all want to be the best! “I dare you!” has run out across the ages as boys compete for most dangerous things as well: tight rope walking, bull chasing, whatever boys do.

The enemy himself comes to us and says “I dare you!”  What is he daring us to do?  He’s daring us to believe GOD! He knows the Scriptures and he tries to get us trembling and fearful that we can’t win because God’s Word isn’t true. He puts a question mark on everything. From Eve in the garden as he whispers “Did God REALLY say…?” to us in the living rooms and office corridors, he still slinks around in questioning whispers. “Will God do what He says he will do? For you?  This time?  Maybe?

Oh beloved, I dare you!  I dare you to believe GOD! I dare you to take hold of all that God is and all that Christ is and all the Holy Spirit is and live life to the fullest!  I dare you to believe that no weapon formed against you will prosper. That goodness and mercy will follow you. That Christ in you is the Hope of Glory!

God loves you and He’s for you!  Believe it today. And believe God for everything you have need of for His promises hold true. He will indeed meet all your needs according to His Riches in Glory!  Rejoice as you lift up the name of Jesus, live in the truth and set the enemy to scurrying back into the hole he came from. You belong to Jesus, you are living for Him and you are headed for Heaven!

Romans 8:33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? No one—for God Himself has given us right standing with Himself. NLT

Romans 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”  NAS

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
