God Wants to Fix What’s Wrong

Coming in from the lake Sunday night, we had a camper to put away, kitchen equipment and food to put up and clothes to wash. After making a pot of good homemade coffee, we sat down to visit and catch up on the news. Before long we had clicked on a home remodel show that I love. Hosted by twin brothers, they find run down homes, promising to make them showplaces for the new owners. This particular episode found them looking at asbestos wrapping the pipes. Asbestos had to be removed from the entire house before they could proceed. There’s no way to see what might lurk in the walls of a house before you tear them open to remodel. But once trouble is found it must be fixed. Thankfully, after the hidden trouble is brought to light, the outcome is better for the homeowners and the environment.

Oh beloved, it’s time to bring it all to the Light. Let God probe into your heart and see if there’s anything that needs removal. Although the world can’t see the real problem hidden deep within, God knows it’s there and He has wonderful plans to give you a renewal of heart and mind. The only way to get that renewal is to let God remove it – remove it all. Although it might be painful to admit, once you’ve gotten it out in the open the outcome is wonderful for both you and those who love you. Change is hard, but keeping poisonous problems present is harder. They don’t go away on their own and they will continue to bring down your potential, giving you a feeling of being devalued and discouraged.

God loves you and He’s for you!  That’s why you want God to fix what’s wrong. Don’t cover it up. Let it out. He will send help your way. He uses the Word and spiritually adept people. Sometimes both, sometimes either.  However He does the fixing let Him! Your life is so valuable to God that He never wants you to remain in danger. He has abundant living for you to do as you get free of the enemy’s noxious tactics. Rejoice as He gives you the answers and sets you on High with Him!

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  Point out anything in me that offends You, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Matthew 4:24 News about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and He healed them.

Psalm 19:12 How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults.

Luke 17:15 Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.

Titus 2:14 He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
