Dance This Faith Life with Joy!

Danny and I danced a couple of times in the early days of our relationship. But my first attempt at dancing was with a group of kids whose parents were all friends. We could practice with each other because we were comfortable with one another. It started out awkward, but eventually we began to dance those 60’s dances with more grace. The oldest guy in the crowd, one of 4 brothers, was our leader. He picked the songs and the dances and got us all going. He knew what he was doing, so it was easy to let him lead. I look back on that as such fun now. Learning together, trusting one another and having a great time.

Oh beloved, God has a plan for your life. His desire is that you dance the faith life with Him as your Leader.  His plan includes setting you into teachable places with people of like-minded faith. Trustworthy leaders and partakers who are all looking to Christ first for direction and then helping one another to learn the supernatural tempos of the spiritual life. He knows that past experiences have left you unfulfilled and disappointed. He knows that you don’t want to make that mistake again. You are wary of new beginnings and unsure of yourself. You’ve made missteps and had others step on your toes with their rejection and disgrace. But forget all that beloved, for it is nothing compared to what God is about to do in your life. As you learn to let go of past mistakes and missteps and step up to lean into the Lord’s loving arms, you will find more than His will. You will find His love, His care, His generous nature, His teacher’s heart. Your spirit will become more teachable and you will rejoice in the truth of all He is for you. God will never make you feel forced to walk with Him for His call is lovely and gentle and awesome. Always seek God’s Word and always listen to His call to the floor first and foremost.

God loves you and He’s for you so dance to the music of faith as you live in the arms of your Savior.

I Corinthians 10:3-4 And all [of them] ate the same spiritual (supernaturally given) food, and they all drank the same spiritual (supernaturally given) drink. For they drank from a spiritual Rock which followed them [produced by the sole power of God Himself without natural instrumentality], and the Rock was Christ. AMP

Zephaniah 3:17 For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs

I Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

I Corinthians 1:9 God will do this, for He is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
