The Extension Service of the University of Arkansas is the place to go for answers about lawn care, gardening, horticulture, family sciences and more. If you’ve got a bug that’s bugging you they will identify it and give you instructions on how to get rid of it.
Pests lurk in the gardens and they can be a real nuisance. A friend of mine put a photo of a huge worm that had eaten her tomatoes and was devouring the plants as well. If you’re like me, those bugs, whatever they are, bug me. I’d rather not deal with them. I sure don’t want them wreaking havoc in my garden.
Believers are annoyed with pests as well. Lush vegetation of a fruitful life can be eaten away by little nymphs of doubt, little beetles of fear and army worms of the evil one. These spirit pests want everything. They’re not content with stealing your fruit. They want you utterly destroyed.
Oh beloved what’s that pest you are being bugged by? Turn to the Word of God for ultimate and sure relief. It has everything you need, from how to resist the enemy’s attacks to how to shut him down from destroying your life. You don’t have to live with it. Someone may have told you it was useless. Someone may have convinced you it’s just the way it has to be, that’s nature you know. But no, beloved, it’s not natural, it’s SUPERnatural! When you give your life to Christ you enter into a covenant of overabundant exchange. God has such marvelous plans for you to flourish in His truth and have a fruitful life of love, joy, peace, contentment and more. He knows what you’ve been dealing with and He loves you so much that He has made a way for you to live above the nuisances of life. You aren’t destined to live with the pests of weakness, fear, dread or worry. Hit them now with the Word of God and watch as they scurry away.
God loves you and He’s for you. So He’s provided everything you need for life and that more abundantly, while you’re working in the garden of life here. And then forever, when you go home to be with Him!
2 Peter 1:2-3 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.
John 15:4 Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in Me.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
