from a Maze to Amazing

There’s a game I sometimes play in my spare time. It requires you to use the least amount of moves through various mazes to get to the final stage. If you run out of moves you can’t finish the segment and you have to start over. If you miss too many of the required steps or bonuses you get the message “you missed too much!” It gets frustrating but I keep trying to make it another step.

Aren’t we glad that with God there is more than enough of His glory and grace to make our way now? Life can be a maze of troubles, decisions, perplexing situations and pressured routes. But God is before us and He promises to get us through. He not only gets us through today, He is the one who has brought us to where we are right now. He has provided all the moves of the Spirit to get us right where we need to be in the future. Not only that His provision is enough to get us all the way home! He never says we missed too much! But the enemy wants to lie to us and speak into our hearts that we’ve missed too much of God’s best for us. He wants us to think that we won’t ever get to the end. He wants us to believe we aren’t good enough to make it or wise enough to endure all the twists and turns.

Oh beloved! God knows what you’ve been going through. He sees your confusion and concern. You feel like this maze you are in is never ending. Rejection at one turn and before you’ve recovered depression has shown up in another twist. Sorrows seem to close in on you and you can barely see to move ahead. People have encouraged you but they aren’t going through this mess. You’ve tried to make it look easy and you’ve wished it would be over. But God is right in front of you. Grab His hand, open His Word, get out His map of faith and recite His truth about you.

You will make it! Yes, the labyrinths of life can be confusing and infuriating. Frustrations of the flesh may abound. But you’re not walking in the flesh – you are empowered by the Spirit! God says move forward! God says you will make it! God says I have made the way for you! No weapon formed against you will prosper. The end is a given because you have given your heart to Christ!

And yet again God says I love you and I AM for you! That’s all you need to know as you progress through life, learning more about Him and living in the light of His glory and grace! He promises that instead of feeling the frustration of the maze of life you will walk straightly and securely and you will be called amazing believer as you go out with joy and are led forth with peace!

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. [For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it). Romans 11:36 AMP

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Psalm 73:w23-25 Yet I still belong to You; You hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
