We are waking up in Texas this morning. The last trip we planned for this great state was for the bluebonnets, but we had a detour of family illness. This time we are visiting with family for a few days. It’s already been great. As we traveled here, we found that there are still a few bluebonnets blooming. ‘Although we missed the original trip, those beautiful flowers dotted the roadside and were right where we were. We’re blessed to have a great visit and still find the flowers I wanted to see. The bluebonnets are a nice side note of blessing as we go along our way. It’s not too late to see God’s handiwork even though the trip was originally delayed and changed.
God wants you to know that there are going to be detours and sidelines in life. Although He knows you want to go the distance with Him where you were, it will be okay. In fact it will be even more wonderful as He reveals more of His plan for your life. You will get where you are going in faith and you will have a ministry of love and reconciliation. No other ministry will do. You may have felt the pain of rejection and rebuff but God says your rejection is His promotion. Trust Him precious believer, for He alone is trustworthy. Get to know Him even better while you are waiting for the opportunities that will come your way. The more you know Him the more you will trust Him. The more you trust Him the more He will reveal to you. Love is the key. Faith is the motivation.
You are His beloved and He is yours. Don’t lament the change of plans for only God has supreme title to change. Don’t wrangle the details of hurts or try to figure it all out. It really doesn’t matter. God loves you and He’s for you and on that you can build your life of faith. Nothing else will do. Your plans may have been changed abruptly and without warning, but God says “Come unto Me”. You may have been told you were of no use, but God says “You are valuable” for My Kingdom and Glory. Don’t worry about what others have said or done – God is on your side and God delights in your humble attitude of faith and perseverance.
Oh beloved, just wait until you see where God is going to take you. This faith trip will last a lifetime and end in the greatest voyage of all – straight to your eternal heavenly home with Him. God’s plans for your life are perfect and right on time. You don’t have to worry that you will miss a thing because God has promised you everything will work out for His glory as well as your best. God loves you and He’s for you and on that you can bank all your travel plans, life plans and hopes.
